Why does my USPS package show as "Pre-Shipment"?Updated 16 days ago
In rare instances, the USPS system may not post typical tracking updates. While it may appear as though the package is lost or not on the way to it's destination, the delivery will likely be completed as intended and self-correct itself. This type of error occurs in under 0.01% of packages and, while frustrating, this is entirely out of Jane's control and occurs once the package is out of our possession. This is a carrier issue.
You can see the a real example of this issue below (the tracking number/locations have been redacted for privacy purposes):
A USPS tracking page displaying an uncommon carrier error where typical tracking updates do not post to the shipment.
In the event of an absence of typical tracking updates, please allow 7 business days for the carrier to self-correct the issue and complete the delivery as expected. If the package is not delivered within 7 business days, get in touch with our Concierge team and we’ll figure out a solution right away.
